The PURSUE Project (Promoting Sustainable, Affordable Housing Construction Technologies Using Environmentally Sound Locally Available Resources) is an Erasmus+ CBHE initiative aimed at improving housing conditions in Sub-Saharan Africa. By fostering collaboration between universities and professionals from Turkey, Portugal, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Somalia, the project supports the development and implementation of eco-friendly, affordable construction practices.

PURSUE focuses on capacity building in higher education, development of innovative teaching programs, and promotion of sustainable construction technologies using local materials. The project addresses critical housing deficits, strengthens regional resilience against environmental hazards, and contributes to broader sustainable development goalsthrough inclusive education, research, and community engagement.
